Things are getting wonderfully ogre-the-top here at Youthology as our cast and crew dive headfirst into rehearsals for Shrek Jr—and we couldn’t be more excited to share our progress with you!
Over the past few weeks, our talented young performers have been working incredibly hard to bring this much-loved story to life. From energetic dance numbers to laugh-out-loud scenes, every rehearsal has been packed with enthusiasm, creativity, and plenty of green spirit! It’s been amazing to watch friendships grow alongside confidence, as everyone steps into their roles and truly shines on stage.
We’re now at the stage where everything is starting to come together. Lines are being polished, songs are sounding fantastic, and the characters you know and love are really coming alive. Whether it’s Shrek’s grumpy charm, Donkey’s unstoppable energy, or Fiona’s fearless determination, our cast is putting their own unique spin on each moment.
Behind the scenes, our team has also been busy working on costumes, props, and staging to make sure the world of Duloc looks as magical as it deserves. It’s shaping up to be a show full of heart, humour, and unforgettable performances.
And here’s the exciting news… tickets are now ON SALE! 🎟️
Our performances will take place at the Bradford Playhouse, and we would love for you to come along and support our incredible young cast. Bring your friends, family, and anyone who loves a good fairy tale with a twist!
